Personal:

A native of Louisiana, I grew up in Grosse Tete and graduated from St. John High School in 1986. After graduating, I attended LSU taking business management and total quality management courses. I was employed with Total Photographics from 1987 until it closed in 2003. I currently work as a Fleet Sales Manager at Bayou Automotive Laplace. I have also been employed with Kleinpeter Photography, a family business, since 1987 where I am currently an event and wedding photographer. I am a member of the Professional Photographers Association of Louisiana (PPLA). In my off time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married to Ashley O'Neal Kleinpeter and have four children Jordan, Jared, Jade, and Emily, and four granddaughters, two of whom attend Sugar Mill Primary in the Ascension Parish school system.

Our family attends Healing Place Church. I have coached youth sports including soccer and baseball for over 8 years. Whenever possible I volunteer with Youth Special Olympics. As an avid hunter and fisherman, I maintain my memberships in Bass Masters and the National Rifle Association .

I believe that all children can learn and that, we as leaders and parents must provide the necessary resources, facilities and programs to insure that all children are educated. When we, as leaders, provide our children with a strong elementary and secondary education, we prepare our children to become good citizens and the leaders of our communities, state and nation for the future.
