What's Happening on Social Media:
MEDIA COVERAGE OF SCHOOLS
Per Board policy, the Superintendent or his/her designee shall serve as the spokesperson for the Ascension Parish School Board and school district. Ascension Public Schools welcomes the opportunity to work with members of the media to cover events and stories on its campuses. Members of the media must be credentialed through either the Louisiana Press Association or the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters and receive prior approval from the Superintendent or the Public Information Office to be allowed on a school campus. Exceptions to this include events open to the general public such as athletic competitions. To request access, please contact Director of Communication Jackie Tisdell at Jackie.Tisdell@apsb.org. or Public Information Coordinator Taylor Rubach at Taylor.Rubach@apsb.org.
