The purpose of this email is to share with you high school enrollment projections for the 2024-25 school year. As you know, Prairieville High School will be opening next Fall, and that prompted the Ascension Parish School Board to create new attendance zones. As part of that decision, the School Board gave rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders the option to stay at their current schools.

Today, the Louisiana Department of Education released District and School Performance Scores, and I am thrilled to share some incredible news that fills us with immense pride. Ascension Public Schools has reached a momentous achievement, solidifying its position as the largest district in Louisiana to earn an "A" rating! Our District Performance Score has soared to an impressive 93.7, marking a significant advancement from the already commendable 92 we attained last year. This score is comprised of a variety of measures including performance on state assessments, a growth index, graduation rates, and program offerings.
