Superintendent's Messages

As we wrap up the semester, our hearts are full of gratitude. We are incredibly thankful for the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our students, teachers, and staff. Every day, they show up, do their best, and support one another, and that makes our Ascension school community truly special.
 

We are heading into the final week of the fall semester, and it's hard to believe how quickly the time has flown! Our students have been working hard to stay focused, keep up with their schoolwork, and finish the semester strong, all while our school halls are beginning to sparkle with a little holiday spirit. It’s been a busy (and festive!) time on our campuses, and we are proud of the effort our students are showing.

I want to take a moment to share some incredible news and, more importantly, to thank you. Our district has once again earned an “A” rating from the Louisiana Department of Education, and we increased our District Performance Score to a 96 “A.”

As we complete the first two full weeks of the 2025-26 school year, I want to share some of the exciting work happening across our schools.

What a wonderful day it has been! Today, we officially launched the 2025-26 school year with our dedicated teachers and staff, and the energy across our district was nothing short of inspiring. Our team is united by a shared focus: to ensure that every student achieves, grows, and thrives this year.
