Ascension Public Schools announces kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year will begin online and at school sites beginning March 24, 2026. State law requires kindergarten enrollment for students who are 5 years old before Sept. 30, 2026.

Ascension Public Schools announces online pre-kindergarten (Pre-K) applications for the 2026-27 school year will open on March 1, 2026. In addition to publicly funded seats, Ascension is adding 50 tuition-based seats for next year.

The Ascension Public Schools Early College Option (ECO) program is excited to announce a series of Family Nights tailored specifically for current 8th-grade students interested in exploring the ECO program for high school. These events will be held on February 24, March 17, and April 14, from 6 to 7 p.m., at River Parishes Community College (RPCC).
