Qualifying Events
A qualifying event is a change in life circumstance that allows you make adjustments to your insurance coverage outside of the open enrollment period. Examples of a qualifying event are as follows: marriage, birth or adoption of a child, death, divorce, and loss of coverage. If you have a question about a potential qualifying event, please contact the Insurance Department within Human Resources.
Changes due to a qualifying event must be submitted to the Insurance Department within 30 days. Requested changes beyond the 30-day window will be denied.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
An Employee Assistance Program provides employees and their immediate family members with free and confidential counseling services for issues affecting mental and emotional well-being, stress, grief, family problems, and more. Our EAP programs are there to support you and are available as needed.
