Complaint Resolution
If you believe that special education requirements have not been followed by Ascension Public Schools or you have a concern with the delivery of special education services, the following dispute resolution options are available to you:
First: Contact your child's special education teacher to discuss your concerns
Second: Contact the principal of your child's school
Third: Contact your school's SPED Lead Teacher
Fourth: Contact the Special Education Department at 225-391-7222 or Adrina.Million@apsb.org
Fifth: Complete the Written Requests for Informal Resolution of Special Education Complaint (located in parent's Rights Booklet).
